Nice plug, even though he did defame Oxy’s conference competition at the end. He didn’t mention Laverne though, so that is a small victory.
Maybe we should have gone to the homecoming game when we had the chance.

Lily and I did go, and had a blast (total cost: $5). It was almost ugly how bad Oxy beat Pomona.
One thing I had forgotten: the pure sophomoric joy that is the “Oxy Grunt” (also mentioned by Simers). Tigers!… Tigers!… UNNNHH!

Hey, the Bruins won the one game of the year most fans care about. It’s hoops where the winning counts, and Howland and the boys seems to be doing OK there. Any decent football team is just icing on the cake.
Speaking of hoops sorry the Huskies put the Bruins into sole position of first, MJ…
