    Looks like we’re still several years away from having the income cover the expenses, but a very good quarter!

    income + cap gains has been covering expenses nicely actually. but I guess income > expenses is a benchmark, right?

    Sooner or later we’re gonna have to give some of it away :)

    Yeah, net net is positive, so that’s all good. Especially since not all our holdings are income producing.

    Have we set a benchmark of when we start giving it away? 25K? 50K? 5 % of 25K is over 1000 bucks. I think that’s a place to start. On the other hand, the foundation becomes much more sustainable in its giving if we wait until it’s larger…
